Censor This! (Our Censorship Round-Up)

Two fantastic online resources that deal with censorship issues:

  • The National Coalition Against Censorship Toolkit, which gives strategies and info about responding to challenges.
  • The Banned Books Week Handbook, which talks about Banned Books Week, the annual celebration of banned books.

The ALA Office for Intellectual Freedom provides numerous resources for dealing with censorship issues, including Dealing with Challenges to Books and Other Library Materials and Reporting a Challenge.
